Richards Bathroom, Sunderland

We completed this two-room refit in Sunderland for Richards. Downstairs, the cloakroom is clad in white marble-effect panels on the walls, with matching marble-look flooring. An oak wall-hung vanity with a white basin keeps the floor clear, and a chrome heated towel rail sits beside the close-coupled toilet.

Upstairs, the bathroom is finished in large-format Murcia cladding with a light wood-grain look. White marble flooring runs under a built-in bath and a white combination unit that brings the sink, vanity and toilet together. A frosted window and chrome heated towel rail complete the room.

The two finishes are deliberately different: bright marble in the compact downstairs WC, and warmer Murcia cladding in the family bathroom above.
