Bathroom in Durham

This was a full refit of a narrow bathroom in Durham. The customer wanted something modern with a bit of warmth, so we went with large-format dark marble-effect tiles on the walls and a wood-slat feature panel at the back of the shower.

The shower is a walk-in with a sliding glass door, rainfall head and a handheld on the side. We built in recessed shelves in the tiled wall for toiletries. There is a wall-hung toilet to keep the floor clear, and a compact white gloss vanity between the shower and the toilet.

The ceiling above the shower has a dropped bulkhead with a copper-toned finish and a spotlight. A heated towel rail goes on the opposite wall.

The customer is fitting their own flooring, so that was left for them to finish once we had completed the plumbing and tiling.
