En-Suite in Durham

We completed this en-suite bathroom in Durham last week. The customer wanted a modern look with a strong feature wall, so we clad the shower area and main walls in blue herringbone-pattern wall panels for a clean, contemporary finish without the maintenance of full tiling.

The shower is a corner quadrant enclosure with a matte black frame, rainfall head and handheld on the side. Black fittings carry through to the vanity handles, shower hardware and toilet flush for a consistent look.

A white floor-standing vanity with basin sits beside the shower, with a close-coupled toilet on the opposite side. Wood-effect flooring adds warmth against the cool blue panels. A frosted window in the shower area keeps the room bright while maintaining privacy.

The room makes good use of a compact en-suite footprint — everything the customer needs within a practical, easy-to-maintain layout.
